Clare Bulb Co comment: A good old-fashioned Darwin tulip, the companion to Red Apeldoorn. Very large flowers, that open wide in the sun. Will grow quite happily in the shade, and come up year after year.  The picture below is in one of our borders, just after they have opened into flower.
